After School Program

Available Monday–Friday, August–June on days when school is in session.

The Siemon Center's free after school program is for members and nonmembers, and includes a healthy snack and organized homework help for youth in grades 1–7.

Students work on homework, projects or study skills while supervised by Siemon staff from 3–4pm. At 4pm, students who are Siemon Center Members have the option to sign out of the program and sign into the facility to utilize their member benefits. Non-members and youth who choose to remain in the program after 4pm will have the option of purchasing a day pass which will allow them to participate in a variety of supervised activities until 7PM. Children’s Troops Programs

The Salvation Army's goal is to give young people a safe community in which to grow and prosper. In The Salvation Army Kroc Center's character-building troop program, children build valuable skills that they will use throughout their lives.  These programs are a holistic Christian education experience.  The goals are to build positive social and communication habits, decision making and life skills, and build character and leadership skills through a biblical world view by encouraging: a sense of personal identity and character; Christian values and Biblical principles; and physical mental, spiritual, and social development.
