Happy days are here again!

The Salvation Army Siemon Family Youth & Community Center is bringing the fun back to summer. Right now, it’s hard to be a parent–you want to make sure your child is safe, but you also want them to be able to socialize, make friends, and have fun. At The Siemon Center's COVID-safe, engaging camp environment, your child can do both! Parents will feel a sense of relief knowing their camper gets to be a kid again, in the safest place possible.

Adventure Day Camp

FOR AGES 6–13  | INCLUDES LUNCH, TWO SNACKS & A FREE WATER BOTTLE

Adventure Camp explores the unique Siemon Center campus and offers a variety of age-appropriate activities. Daily activities may include: swimming, traditional sports, arts & crafts, STEM activities, and more. All of our camps also feature Christian values and fun Bible lessons!

Overnight Camp at Mt. Crags

Kids ages 8–17 will love these five night residential camping experiences at Camp Crags, Gilmore & Wilderness. While at camp, youth will have the opportunity to enjoy a fun and safe environment where they can learn independence, work together, and build new friendships. In addition they will enjoy evening campfires, swimming, organized recreational activities, arts and crafts, and more. All of this while enjoying God's creation and learning about His presence in their lives!  

Drop-off your child at The Red Shield on Monday at noon with a full week's worth of clothing, including a warm jacket. Children can be picked-up the following Saturday at 10:30am.

Safety is Our Top Priority 

Health & wellness is more important to our camp families than ever before. The Salvation Army is committed to providing a fun, active, engaging, and safe camp experience for your child. This year, you will see a few changes to how camp operates, in order to ensure the safety of campers and staff.

 

Pick-up & Drop-off

The Drop-Off/Pick-Up process has been updated to maintain social distancing guidelines and includes a morning health assessment.

Socially Distanced

Camp activities have been redesigned with social distance guidelines in mind. Masks will be worn at all times, with the exception of during meals, while in the pool, and occasionally during socially distanced outdoor activities. 

Hand Washing

Campers will wash and/or sanitize hands regularly, including upon entering the Siemon Center, before and after meals, and in between any major activity change.

Scholarships are available!
The last few years have been challenging, and we understand that some families may need a little extra help. To apply for a camp discount, please fill out a Program Scholarship Form and submit at least three weeks prior to the start of the requested camp.For those families in need, camp scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis. Applications should be submitted at least three weeks prior to the start of the requested camp. Please note, filling out a scholarship form does not guarantee a space in camp.
